Mrs. Edna Huntington

Edna Earl Huntington (affectionately known as Mama Earl) passed away peacefully from complications of Alzheimer’s on August 15, 2012. She was born July 28, 1923 in Jefferson, Texas to Claborn and Eva Louis Whitfield. Preceded in death by her husband, Clayton, her memory will be cherished by her devoted children: Peggy and husband Tino, Clay (Budd) and wife Linda, Shane and wife Cristi and Patti and husband T.J. She is also survived by a sister, Lois Smith. Grandchildren left to remember Mama Earl with much love and fond memories are: Tami Rosas, Timothy Rosas, Amy Huntington, Penni Davis, Morgan Wallace, Paige Huntington, Caleb Wallace, and Garrett Huntington. Great- grandchildren are: Conner, Shelbi, Andrew, Jake and Colten. When tomorrow starts without you, Mama Earl, we will try to understand that an Angel came and called you and took you to Heaven where Clayton has been waiting. Your family has tears of joy just thinking how happy you must be because we know you finally are able to say, “Oh, there you are Clayton!”

Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Earl Huntington will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 18, 2012 in the Capt. Wm. Perry Chapel of Haggard Funeral Home with Rev.Gene Steger and Rev. Allison Byerley officiating. Interment will follow services at Moore’s Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be her two sons, Clay and Shane as well as Tino Rosas, Timothy Rosas, T.J. Wallace and Josh Davis.
