Mr. Clearece Moseley

Funeral services for Mr. Clearece Moseley “C.M.” Suber, 93, of Jefferson will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at the Capt. Wm. Perry Chapel of Haggard Funeral Home, with Dr. Jeff Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday, January 21, 2013 from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Mr. Suber was born February 12, 1919 in Marion County, Texas, to William M. and Lois Duncan Suber. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jefferson, Texas, a lifetime member of the Jefferson Masonic Lodge # 38 and the American Legion. Mr. Suber served his country in the United States Army. He was employed by Gulf Oil Company as the Gulf Distributor. He enjoyed fishing and playing “42”. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Marie Suber, son, Jerry Wayne Suber and brother, Guy Suber. Mr. Clearece Suber passed away January 18, 2013 in Jefferson.

Mr. Suber is survived by his wife Mildred J. Suber of Jefferson, and daughter, Brenda Sue Peterson of Atlanta, Texas, grandchildren, Brian Scott Suber and wife, Lori, Suzanne Turner and husband, Mike, James Peterson and wife, Susan and Donna Adams, and great grandchildren, Scott Suber, Fallon Turner, Cory Peterson, Gracie Peterson, Trey Adams and Trinity Adams, daughter-in-law, Lou Anne Suber.

Pallbearers will be members of the Jefferson Masonic Lodge and Honorary pallbearers will be Deacons of First Baptist Church, Ruel Young, Sr., and his “42” buddies.
