Denise Youngblood McAlexander

Celebration of life services for Mrs. Eura Denise Youngblood McAlexander of Alba, Texas (formerly of Jefferson) will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2013 at the fellowship hall of the First United Methodist Church in Jefferson, Texas. “The Celebration” will be under the direction of her family and friends that will join together in telling why they love Denise and memories they would like to share.

Denise was born on March 18, 1956 in Jefferson, Texas to Dink Youngblood and Bonnie Lummus Youngblood at Terry-DeWare Clinic. Denise loved life to its fullest and loved nothing more than to share her time with her family and her friends. When she could get some private time, she spent time reading books, especially her personal bible. Denise worked for nearly every office in Marion County and like all the girls in her family she started her work career as a waitress. She also worked a few years in Anchorage, Alaska. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Charlie Earl Youngblood. Survivors include her stepchildren, Kevin and his wife, Carla; Kelly Wheeler and her husband, Brandon; and Kimberly Williams; grandchildren, Mason, Morgan, Trenton, Skylar, Daniel, Trenton, Peyton, and Colton; brother, Joe Youngblood and his wife, Sharon of Tyler; sisters, Patsy Dreesen and her husband, Jerry of Jefferson; Susan Dye and her husband, Brandon of Gilmer; and her God-son, Brandon Barton of Marshall, Texas. She also left behind a great host of nieces and nephews that she always loved like they were her own children, and they always loved her like she was their personal Mee-Maw, since their real Mee-Maw had gone to heaven.

Memorials may be made to the Marion County Humane Society, P.O. Box 505, Jefferson, Texas 75657 903-790-9012 A memorial guestbook may be signed at www.haggardfuneralhome.com
